AudioFaction Bio

Formed in June 2011, the band, AudioFaction is now Quinten, Nathan and Cameron.  Their music is a combination of top 40, pop, rock, alternative and classic rock originals and covers that are enjoyed by all age groups.  Their sound is described as smooth melodic vocals backed by crisp guitars with jazz/rock bass and drumming.

Quinten Brown is the bands bass player and is a seasoned performer.  Besides AudioFaction, he performs with his school band, does various performances at live jams that sometimes include his father and grandfather, and many other public and private events over the last few years.  His musical influences range from the oldies and classic rock genre to the newer alt rock songs you hear on today's radio.  In his spare time he enjoys video games and movies.  Quinten attends Thomas Jefferson High School in Federal Way, WA.

Guitarist Nathan Beltran was also raised on classic rock and is influenced by bands ranging from The Beatles and Richie Valens to Bruno Mars.  He has move towards the rock and alternative genres but continues to keep a clean and crisp guitar sound and playing style not seen in many teens these days.  When not playing, practicing or studying Nathan likes to catch up on sleep and hang out with friends.  Nathan attends Riverside High School in Auburn, WA.

Drummer Cameron Smith grew up on rock and alternative and is influenced by bands like Death Cab for Cutie, The Strokes, and Arctic Monkeys.  He plays drums for AudioFaction and guitar for his side projects.  He also plays in his schools' music programs.  In the 2011 “Kids Got Talent” competition solo/duo category, Cameron won the “People’s Choice” award for his singing and guitar playing.  Outside of music, he plays soccer and enjoys traveling.  Cameron attends Rogers High School in Puyallup, WA.
